We Made It!

WE ARRIVED!
After months of fundraising, planning meetings, paperwork and preparation, Peru is no longer something we are talking about. We are finally here.
The adventure began at Melbourne Airport as families said their goodbyes and the journey to South America got underway. The flight covered an incredible distance across the Southern Ocean. At one stage of the journey, we were closer to Antarctica than we were to Australia, a reminder of just how far we were travelling. After a change of flights in Santiago, we finally arrived in Peru ready for the adventure ahead.

It was lovely to see everyone together again in Peru. Although it had been a long day of travel, the excitement was obvious as everyone arrived and prepared for the adventures ahead.
