What an incredible day we had yesterday!  Here are some photos and some amazing scenes from the Plaza in the centre of Lima.  We almost didn’t go to the centre because of the political unrest that has been present in the last week.  There has still not been an official announcement of who will be the president (inaugurated on 28 July).  BUT after speaking to a few people and being dropped at a strategical point we were able to go into the plaza….along with ALL of these people…who just wanted to celebrate their religion their culture and their fathers (it was father’s day) ….regardless of politics….. and what a special treat it turned out to be!  I hope you enjoy the show!
